Lagree, Reformer Pilates, and first visits.
New to the Megaformer or comparing us with Reformer Pilates? Here's what to know before your first shake.
The basics
Lagree is a low-impact, high-intensity full-body workout performed on a machine called the Megaformer. It focuses on slow, controlled movements that build strength, endurance, stability, and mobility at the same time, combining strength training, core work, and cardio into one efficient, joint-friendly format. We promise you'll love it.
Not exactly. They can look similar, but Lagree is done on a Megaformer with slow, controlled movements under constant tension, combining strength, core, endurance, and balance in one workout.
Reformer Pilates tends toward quicker movements and mobility, with more pauses between exercises. Lagree is more intense and continuous, while staying low-impact and joint-friendly.
We are a Lagree and Megaformer studio, not a classical Pilates studio. If you are looking for Pilates or Reformer Pilates in Copenhagen, you may still feel at home here because the method is precise, low-impact, core-focused, and controlled.
The difference is intensity. Lagree keeps you under steady tension for longer, so the session feels more strength-focused and continuous.
This method is for everyone, regardless of fitness level or training background, as long as you are 18 or older. Whether you're new to training or coming from strength, running, or another practice, our instructors offer options and progressions so you can work at your own level while still being challenged.
Congratulations! You're welcome on the Megaformer as long as you've been cleared by your healthcare provider to work out. If it's your first time with us, please send us a quick note first so we can talk you through modifications.
We also run a weekly Mommy Moves format, a no-stress space to find modifications during pregnancy and postpartum. You can bring your kids, and no advance notice is needed.
Before you arrive
Just yourself and a pair of grip socks. Bring water and a towel if you like. We also sell water and grip socks at the studio, and towels are free for members, otherwise 15 kr.
Yes. There are changing rooms, lockers, and showers to freshen up after training. Towels are free for all members, otherwise a 15 kr. charge applies.
First visit? Please arrive 15 min early to get settled. Otherwise, 5 to 10 min before start is perfect. Doors close 2 min before the booked slot, and after that entry isn't guaranteed.
There's plenty of space to park your bike outside. Car parking in the area is very limited, so we recommend coming by bike, taking the M3 to Enghave Plads, or the bus that stops right around the corner.
We've got you covered. There's a water station to fill your bottle, plus water for purchase. After your workout, grab a coffee to stay and hang out, or take one to go.
The studio opens 15 min before training starts. For the final booking of the day, or when there's nothing after, it closes 30 min after your workout ends.
